Bespoke Medallions, Made to Order
A custom marble medallion is a one-off floor centrepiece cut and assembled to your exact design, dimensions, and material palette. Where a standard medallion is chosen from a catalogue, a custom commission begins with your drawing, your brand, or your motif — and is built from the ground up.
Art Inlay has produced bespoke medallions since 2008 for private villas, five-star hotels, royal palaces, and flagship commercial spaces across more than 40 countries. Every piece is waterjet-cut to 0.2mm precision and shipped factory direct.
What We Can Customise
Every element is specified to your project. Nothing is fixed.
- Design — geometric, floral, compass rose, pictorial pietre dure, or your own artwork and logo.
- Size — from 300mm to 6000mm+ diameter; large pieces shipped as numbered panels.
- Materials — any marble, onyx, granite, or semi-precious stone, matched across the assembly.
- Finish — polished, honed, brushed, or leathered to suit the space.
Specifications
Material and tolerances are confirmed in writing before production begins.
- Common stones: Calacatta Gold, Statuario, Nero Marquina, Emperador Dark, Crema Marfil, Verde Alpi, Rosso Verona.
- Waterjet tolerance: ±0.2mm; joints filled with epoxy or dry-set mortar.
- Thickness: 18mm or 20mm; structural backing on request.
- Delivery: mesh-backed for small pieces, numbered slab panels with drawings for large medallions.
- Lead time: 6–10 weeks from design approval.

From Your Drawing to the Finished Floor
Every custom medallion follows the same disciplined process, from first drawing to final installation pack.
- Design & drawing review — we work from your AutoCAD or PDF drawing, or produce one from your reference. Materials, diameter, and finish confirmed first.
- Stone selection — slabs sourced in matched batches for consistent colour, book-matched where required.
- Waterjet cutting — all pieces cut to 0.2mm tolerance from the approved DXF file.
- Dry assembly & QC — dry-assembled, photographed, inspected; anything outside tolerance is recut.
- Edge finishing & polish — edges eased, surface finished to specification.
- Packaging & export — mesh-backed or crated as numbered panels with drawings; DDP worldwide.
