Where we build in stone
Stone floors and rooms, made as complete compositions — entrances, foyers and lobbies; bathrooms and spas. Drawn to size, cut to ±0.1mm and dry-assembled before they ship.
Begin a commission →Every Art Inlay commission is a complete room, not a surface. These are the applications we build most often: arrival floors for villas, hotels and palaces, and wet rooms for bathrooms, hammams and spas.
Both share the same engineering. We set every composition out to the architecture, select stone against the drawing, cut it on the waterjet to ±0.1mm, dry-assemble it in the atelier and photograph it for your approval before crating. Joints close to a hairline, movement and drainage are planned into the cut file, and the floor arrives numbered with a setting plan.
Because we make to order rather than to a catalogue, almost anything can be adapted — a foyer scaled up to a hotel lobby, a bathroom matched to an existing drawing, a medallion set into a shower floor. If you can draw it, we can cut it.
Because each application is engineered rather than applied, the same standard travels across the whole commission — the setting-out, the waterjet cut, the dry assembly and the numbered setting plan. A villa foyer and a hotel lobby differ in scale, not in method; a spa floor adds drainage falls and slip resistance to the same engineering.
Start from the application closest to your project and we will adapt it to your plan, or send a drawing and a photograph of a room and we will recommend where inlay earns its place — usually the floor everyone crosses first.
Every commission includes:
- A full-size setting-out drawing and material study before any stone is cut
- Waterjet cutting to ±0.1mm direct from your approved CAD file
- Dry assembly and photography for your sign-off in the atelier
- Numbered panels, a setting plan and export crating
Entrances, foyers & lobbies
Residential foyers, hotel lobbies, villa entrances and palace halls — the arrival floor that carries the whole building's first impression, engineered for luggage wheels, stiletto heels and ten thousand crossings a day.
Bathroom & spa inlay
Slip-resistant waterjet inlay engineered for bathrooms, hammams and spas — honed walking surfaces, sealed joints, and drainage falls cut into the pattern itself.
