Marble inlay flooring — bespoke fabrication by Art Inlay
Collection 01 — Floors

Marble inlay flooring

Geometric and organic floor compositions cut to ±0.1mm — borders, field panels and full-room figures in Calacatta, Nero Marquina and Verde Alpi. Structural stone throughout: the pattern is set into the substrate, not applied to it.

Materials

Calacatta, Nero Marquina, Verde Alpi, Rosso Levanto, brass fillets

Finish

Polished, honed, brushed or leathered — lapped as one surface

Thickness

18mm standard, 20mm for heavy traffic

Lead time

6–10 weeks from approved drawing

An inlaid floor is planned as a system, not a surface. Borders are calculated from the room's axes, field panels sized to the stone that exists, and every joint lands where the drawing says it will. Underfloor heating, movement joints and substrate tolerances are engineered into the cut plan before a slab is opened.

We work in 18mm structural stone as standard — 20mm for heavy traffic — lapped and sealed as one surface, so joints close to a hairline and read as drawn lines rather than gaps.
