Private Residence, Mongolia
Delivered for a Mongolian residence: six connected rooms on one continuous border system, gold-accented ceilings above inlaid floors. Crema Marfil, Emperador, Rosso Levanto, cut on the waterjet to ±0.1mm and dry-assembled in the Jiangmen atelier before crating.

What this project had to solve
A continuous border system had to survive six room thresholds without a visible break.
Delivered for a Mongolian residence: six connected rooms on one continuous border system, gold-accented ceilings above inlaid floors.
Private Residence, Mongolia in detail
This Mongolian residence runs a single border system through six connected rooms — reception, dining and bedrooms — so the floor reads as one continuous field rather than a series of thresholds. The challenge was keeping that line uninterrupted where rooms meet and floor levels change slightly.
We set the border and field out from the longest axis of the plan, sized each room's panels to Crema Marfil, Emperador and Rosso Levanto, and cut the whole system from one waterjet file so the motifs matched at every door. Fields were dry-assembled and numbered room by room.
Installed beneath gold-accented ceilings, the inlaid floors carry the eye from room to room without a break in the pattern — the border doing exactly the structural job it is meant to do.
The border was cut in long runs and indexed at the doors, so the pattern flows from the reception into the dining room and on to the bedrooms without a joint. Each room's field was numbered to its own setting plan, which made the four-week installation straightforward.
From drawing to crating
Full-size drawing
The pattern is drawn 1:1 on the atelier floor before any stone is cut, so proportions are settled at the scale you will walk on.
Stone selection
Blocks and slabs are chosen against the drawing, vein by vein, and photographed for your approval.
Waterjet cutting
Multi-axis waterjet cuts every piece direct from the approved CAD file, held to ±0.1mm across the whole figure.
Dry assembly & crating
The composition is assembled, inspected and numbered on the factory floor, then crated with a setting plan.
